Our biggest priority at the Her Dinero Matters headquarters is serving our listeners.
We get a ton of pitches of potential guests wanting to be on the podcast which makes our inbox very chaotic. We also want to produce the best episodes possible because we have the best interest of our listeners.
Therefore, we are selective as to who we bring on as a guest to the show . Yes you can say we take our work seriously!
As a way to save both of us time we have created these guidelines to help you confirm if Her Dinero Matters is a good fit for you.

About Her Dinero Matters
The podcast is all about sharing our money stories and helping women gain confidence while learning to manage their money in more practical and simple ways. It also has become a platform for Latinas to show their talent & skills while being an example to other Latinas.
Our listeners
Our listeners in general tend to be Latina, have thriving and busy careers and are the money managers of their households. They have been in the United States for a while and have adapted to the culture and way of life (for the most part) and have a lot of pride in being Latina.
What we look for in a guest
An ideal guest for Her Dinero Matters is one who:
- Is open to being vulnerable about money (it is a show about money after all)
- Has a love and appreciation for the Latino culture
- Has a big heart to serve and help others

Do you need to be Latina(o), Hispanic, Latinx?
No, we welcome all backgrounds, races, ethnicities, genders, etc. We pride ourselves on being inclusive, after all, we can learn so much from each other.
Do I need to be a personal finance expert?
Absolutely not! We can for sure learn personal finance for your story!!
Can I sell my product/service on the show?
We all want to have more visibility especially if you are a business owner. It is only natural that you want to be able to sell what you have to offer. However, we do not allow selling on the show.
The interview is about you, your money story, and your financial journey or if you are a financial expert it will be about your financial expertise. If people resonate with what you share they will naturally want to buy what you have to offer.
Having said that if you are wanting to have a show fully focused on your product/service we do have that option with a fully sponsored episode. Do I need to be able to speak Spanish?
Although we do love conversations that include español, no we don’t require for you to be fluent in Spanish.
